What MAC software should I get for making fan videos such as the ones you see on youtube?

I know about Windows movie maker I want a MAC software for my MAC.

iMovie from iLife is easy to use.

Final Cut or Adobe Premiere for more advanced scrubbing and timeline editing.

you can set the start time and ending time by dragging slider bar to convert a clip from your movie.
