How to Manage Your ipod Without itunes

by iPad on March 13, 2010

go.tagjag.com – www.copytrans.net – If you have an ipod, you know that using itunes to sync it and manage your music can be a pain at times. Copy Trans Manager is a free alternative that is much simpler to use. Marques is back with another screencast, and this time he’s going to show us all how to effectively manage our playlists and libraries with ease. twitter.com – www.youtube.com

You had me sold at “it copies the media from your iPod back into the freeware automatically”. Thanks for the video, I’m going to check this out.

Itunes is bull. Thanks

Can someone please explain to me why no i-tunes alternative (including this one) lets you tag a track as being part of a compilation? This feature is essential if you have albums containing more than one artist, yet I still haven’t found another program that includes it – and I’d really like to, since i-tunes is horrible to use.

I haven’t tried out this program yet, but I’m very tempted to do so (in fact, I was just about to.)
It looks very simple and easy to use, and doesn’t need all that flashy stuff like iTunes to run well.

Thank you for the upload!

eh, i have a ipod video 5g that i hacked with rockbox, and i use the standard explorer in windows to navigate my music, photos, videos and text files. Rockbox supports windows media files, no loss of quality converting cd’s to .mp3!!! And i get to have my own wallpaper and themes on my ipod and it’s completely safe to remove if i don’t like it (just update the firmware with itunes). You could use *cough* *cough* itunes *cough* or the alternative in this video if you don’t want to take the risk.

i think they both produce pretty crap software.
